New Grace Church is a “Great Commission” church. We seek to embrace the mission that Jesus left to his Church: “Go...make disciples of all peoples” (Mat. 28:19). “Missions” is a term that too often has come to mean only sending people to distant continents. But Missions at New Grace is actually much broader than that!

Anytime a follower of Jesus decides to “go” for the sake of sharing the Gospel with another person, mission work is happening. This “going” could be as simple as leaving a chair to walk across the room and talk to a stranger.

Any follower of Jesus, with a willingness to take the Great Commission to heart, is actually a missionary. New Grace wants to be a church that is filled with such people. In fact, the vision of New Grace Church is to:

• Be followers of Jesus who make other followers of Jesus
• Build church networks and new communities of faith within our greater community, and to
• Send out followers of Christ to other parts of the world
