Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a system of lay caring ministry in which lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide one-on-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Stephen Ministry helps pastors and congregations provide quality caring ministry for as long as people need it.

New Grace has a team of Stephen Ministers that have all completed an extensive training program. Each has passed an interview process, agreed to serve at least two years and participated in 50 hours of training.

Soul Support

Soul Support is a ministry at New Grace that is driven by the belief that "two are better than one...for if they fall, one will lift up his fellow...a threefold cord is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12).

If you are the sole supporter for your family or have a burden for people who find themselves in this life position, please consider joining this new group to identify needs in people's lives and find ways to help lighten the load emotionally and physically.
